Put aside the usual pigeonholes, things like style and genre classifications - it takes much more for a band to really make a personal connection with people. Kwatrokantos understand this. The Iloilo-based Rock band, has made that direct musical connection in each of their shows they've played at all-ages rock nights, school events, tv shows, living rooms, back yards and any of the other places they play over every year. It all started as a mature insight of four guys who didn't take themselves too seriously, but then Kwatrokantos Bam2x, (vocals); Deryl, (guitars, back-up vocals); Benji, (drums); and Zak, (bass) - aren't your typical rock band -- starting with two veteran musicians in their ranks who are too experienced when it comes to music, one talented bassist that gave the band a powerful blend to their songs and an explosive frontman that surprised the band during there first gig with him. And they've now created a powder of affecting, personal and explosive rock group here in Iloilo .

Kwatrokantos was formed in 2002 but quickly made some lineup changes.They've released their previous Album but did not quite made a great impact here in Iloilo, because of some problems that came up during their stint.

Kwatrokantos is now a complete band. Ready to give the ilonggo rakista a new blend of rock music. And will be releasing their second album.
